I have a HOME EASY HE842.

It is appearing within TRX_ELSE.

I would like to define it within fhem and use the state change to trigger other events.

This should be possible??

Struggling to understand how to define the switch? Can be AC or Homeeasy.

appreciate any advice.

AFAIK thers no Interface supported by fhem, that support HE, what Interface do you want to use ?

bigmacd

hi thanks for your reply.
I would like to use it to turn on and off a whole set of fhem enabled devices in a room.
They are not all Home easy devices but they all support fhem on/off events.

First you need an Interface thats supports HomeEasy and is also supported by FHEM

OK I've got the RFXTRX433e installed?

Typically HE devices work with RFXTRX, HomeEasy mode. Autocreate should work. Have no experience with HE842 though.
