Hi There,

I have been building my setup
and after trying multiple solutions i choose fhem to run the home

Sadly it seems to be 1 of my intended uses seem to fail

the idea is to use an ESP8266 this works fine connecting it up to fHEM with the define gives me
Unknown module ESPEasy tried the search but nothing showed up

Anybody have an idea ?

Hi,

may be your FHEM is an old version? Since march 2017 the modul ESPEasy ist official content, earlier it was experimental.

To update fhem, type "update" in the Fhem Commandline at the upper of the GUI.

update usually requires to restart fhem (shutdown restart) after completion.
Maybe you missed that?
