Titel: USB problem
Beitrag von: gkoper am 10 März 2013, 19:08:27
Dear all

I am quite new to this but I just quickly wanted to test fhem running on an RPI with an FHZ1300PC. The system freezes as soon as I try to connect the associated USB port. This seems very much the problem that has been recently described in the RPI-forum. But I do not need the latest edition, so is there anyone that could give me (a link to) a working .img file for the RPI so that I can proceed?

Thanks in advance,

Ger

Have you already installed the kernel update? The kernel from the latest image has a broken USB implementation re. the FTDI USB/serial converter.

Dear dougie

Thanks for your question. I tried "update" from the raspi-config window and it did a lot of things. Did not help though, not even after rebooting.

Maybe a more specific command?

Ger

Thanks Ralf

that worked, although it took some retries because of some initially missing modules.
