Hallo Zusammen,
ich habe seit ein paar Tagen ein merkwürdiges Verhalten.
Habe einen Ubuntu Server
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS
Release: 16.04
Codename: xenial
darauf läuft mein fhem und der Unificontroller.
Wenn jetzt den Server per update & upgrade update und dann neustarte, ist wieder alles wie vor dem Neustart.
Das betrifft auch fhem (z.B. ein Schalter, der vorher auf off war wird auf on geschalten (die Info wird wohl aus dem save File geholt).
Genauso teile der cfg, die ich vorher mit SAVE geschrieben habe.
Das gleiche ist in der Unifi Software. Wenn ich dort eine Einstellung vornehme, ist diese nach dem Neustart wieder weg.
Ubuntu selber zeigt mir auch nach einem Neustart immer wieder die gleichen Updates an.
ich kann die installieren, dann Neustart, dann geht es wieder von vorne los.
Ich bin mit meinen Ideen am Ende und habe keine Ahnung, wo ich da anfangen/nachsehen soll.
Ist das Device wirklich schreibbar?
Hast Du in letzter Zeit mit Device-Overlais rumexperimentiert?

das ist auch merkwürdig:

Ich kann die Werte ändern, aber es wird immer wieder -1 bei max. count und damit wird auch nie ein Check gemacht.
Selbst ein sudo touch /forcefsck
wird ignoiert.
Laut smart hat die SSD aber kein Problem.

Gemacht hatte ich nichts, alles ging, und plötzlich ist es gelogged??
Nach einem Neustart geht wieder alles, ist aber wieder auf den alten Daten??
Gelockt ist da gar nichts. Das Filesystem war read only.
Wo genau wolltest du was schreiben? Bitte genauen path.
egal wo, die Meldung kommt bei jedem Pfad, oder auch wenn ich TAB drücke, um den Namen zu vervollständigen

Weiter oben in diesem Threads hast du ein Check des Filesystems gemacht. Du dachtest sda1 wäre dein root. Ist es aber nicht, es ist nur die boot welche als ext2 eingebunden ist.

Das ist dein root. Du verwendest eine LVM Devices. Versuch bitte einmal den Check auf das Devices.

Kann es sein, dass die SSD hinüber ist?

Es muß ja der LVM einen Snapshot erstellen und auf diesen zurück gehen, sonst würden ja nicht immer wieder die alten Daten da sein.
Wie kann man denn den Snapshot löschen? Oder auch manuell einen neuen erstellen?
LVM macht kein Snapshot.
Es liegt daran das nichts gespeichert werden kann da ein read only mount erfolgt.
Starte mit einer Ubuntu CD und Versuche das LVM zu starten um das Volume mit fsck zu scannen.
Ob es die SSD ist oder nur ein umgekipptes Bit vom ext4 weiß ich nicht.

Wenn ich einen Neustart machen, laufen zwei Prozesse:

Kann es sein, dass das ein Problem macht?
Kann ich nicht sagen. Kenne ich nicht.
Mögliche Fehlerquellen:
1. Speicher (bei Dir SSD)
2. Kontroller
3. Kabel
Also irgendetwas beim IO-Subsystem
Deshalb, wie von CoolTux erbeten, bitte einen Plattencheck mit einer (beliebigen) Linux-Boot-CD (Knobbix, Ubuntu, System-Rescue-CD ..... um mal die gängigen zu nennen)
Wichtig ist bei der LiveCD das sie LVM unterstützt.

Gestern kam ich nicht dazu, aber heute Abend werde ich das testen.
Wobei ich glaube, es muss etwas mit dem Snapshot zu tun haben. Entweder vom LVM, oder meiner Backsoftware.
Anders kann ich mir nicht erklären, dass immer wieder die Daten von zwei Wochen zurück geschrieben werden.
Das Read-Only scheint mir nur ein Nebeneffekt zu sein (das wird auch bei einem Snapshot gesetzt, aber danach eigentlich wieder rw gesetzt)
Wie gesagt. LVM macht kein Snapshot. Und Dein ext4 auch nicht. Allerdings stellt es ein Journal zur Verfügung. Kann mir aber nicht vorstellen das es Daten von vor 2 Wochen liefern kann.

Dann gucke doch mal, was DU alles an Volumen im LVM hast .....
Mich würde aber wundern, wenn "/dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-root" ein SnapSHot währe ..... DANN hättest Du Dir etwas kaputt gespielt
Es sind nur 2 logische Volumes eingerichtet. root und swap.

Interessant. Das muss mit LVM2 neu gekommen sein. Also so vor 10 Jahren. Kannte ich noch gar nicht. Danke für den Link
Ich habe nochmal die Volumes durchgeschaut, einen Snapshot aus OS Ebene (LVM) habe ich keinen.
Ich vermute fast, dass meine Backupsoftware (die macht auch Snapshots) hier einen Murks gemacht hat.
Ich bin da gerade mal am testen. Werde heute Abend auch mal die SSD tauschen und einen Restore von vor einem Monat einspielen, bevor der Fehler aufgetreten ist.
Dann kann ich auch mal in Ruhe das Filesystem offline checken und analysieren.
So, habe gestern eine Nachschicht eingelegt :(
Hatte mal von der Live CD gebootet und die SSD überprüft, aber keine Fehler gefunden.
Habe dann trotzdem eine neue HDD eingebaut und ein Backup zurück gespielt.
Leider wurde der Grub2 nicht richtig erstellt und ich konnte nicht booten :o
Das hat mich doch einiges an Zeit und Nerven gekostet, aber schlußendlich geht wieder alles.
Ob die SSD jetzt wirklich kaputt ist, oder ob es doch ein Softwareproblem ist, weis ich (noch) nicht.
Wenn ich mal wieder mehr Zeit habe, werde ich mir die SSD nochmal vornehmen.
