Hallo Zusammen,
ich habe heute meine FHEM-Installation aktualisiert, also
update FHEM
shutdown restart
durchgeführt. Jetzt startet FHEM nicht mehr - auch nach Reboot meines LinuX-Server nicht.
Die letzten Einträge in /opt/fhem/log/fhem-2019-02.log sehen gar nicht mal so gut aus. Ich bin jetzt rein aus Anwendersicht kein FHEM-Newbee, aber da stehe ich jetzt erst mal wie Ochs vorm Berge und bräuchte nen Schubs...

interessanter Versuch :o hab es mal in einem älteren Testsystem probiert.
Featurelevel 5.6 ist auch interessant.
update FHEM aktualisiert alle Dateien aber nur im Pfad /opt/fhem/FHEM/
z.B. fhem.pl bleibt aussen vor.
Danach fehlen Befehle, wie z.B. update...
Mach am Besten ein Restore Deiner alten Version und mach dann nochmal ein richtiges
update
Hinweis: Der restore in der WEB Oberfläche funktioniert bei mir nicht. Er arbeitet zwar, aber FHEM ist nach einem Neustart immer noch desolate. Das Verhalten hängt aber sicher vom genauen Kombination alte Version neue Version ab. "update FHEM" erzeugt irgendeinen Mischzustand.
Dienst beenden und restore mit letztem tar File funktioniert.

erst mal Danke für die schnelle Antwort! Tja, und damit komme ich zum gruseligen Teil. Ich drücke es positiv aus: ich habe ein Backup der fhem.cfg. Die vorherige FHEM-Version habe ich nicht bewusst gebackupt.
Bietet FHEM die Möglichkeit, auf Shell-Ebene auf die Vorversion zurückzukommen?
Falls nicht: kann das Update-Kommando von FHEM auf der Shell-Ebene angestoßen werden oder bin ich mit einer Neuinstallation fällig?

Uih, hatte ich irgendwie fast befürchtet.
1. Variante
Ich meine laut Log startet ja FHEM, aber offenbar hast Du kein WEB.
Du kannst also auf shell Ebene versuchen:
/opt/fhem/fhem.pl 7072 "update force"Aber die Chance das dies funktioniert ....
2. Variante
Du installierst FHEM neu und spielst die fhem.cfg wieder ein.
Bedeutet:
- Dienst beenden, dienst entfernen
- kompletten Pfad /opt/fhem löschen.
- FHEM neu installieren
- Dienst beenden
- fhem.cfg ersetzen
Dienst starten
3. experimentelle Variante
Udo hatte da mal eine Anleitung wie man FHEM direkt aus dem SVN holt. Angepasst für deinen Fall, vielleicht so?
apt-get update && apt-get install git subversion
# SVN Version holen
cd /opt && svn co https://svn.fhem.de/fhem/trunk/fhem fhem
chown -R fhem: /opt/fhem
Der Rest (User, Service ) müsste ja bei Dir noch vorhanden sein.

Hmm, da ja "das meiste" auch durch das update gegangen zu sein scheint, könntest du evtl. auch einfach die fhem.pl aus dem svn ziehen, und damit die vorhandene (nach einem Backup derselben) ersetzen (Rechte beachten). Danach FHEM neu starten und hoffen...
Danach unbedingt nochmal ein update durchführen, weil manche Module auch unterhalb des Verzeichnisses FHEM Dateien enthalten.

Sagen wir mal so, mein Versuch hat so nicht funktioniert:
- update FHEM
- danach läuft FHEM noch aber irgendwie komisch
- nochmal update
- FHEM läuft immer noch komisch
- Ok, hätte update force probieren können. ::)
Na ja, manches war in featurelevel 5.6 auch noch zulässig (%-irgendwas usw), was jetzt nicht mehr geht; kommt also auch darauf an, was "sonst noch" so eine Rolle spielt. Evtl. ist auch allowed ein Thema... Ist halt ein großer Sprung, so oder so...
Prinzipiell wäre die Frage, was alles installiert war. Ggf. wäre es das Beste, die cfg nur "Stück für Stück" mit dem RAW-Editor in die Neuinstallation zu übertragen. "Gemüse" drumrum (myUtils, Lightscenes usw.) müßte man sich sowieso getrennt ansehen.
Wie dem auch sei: Gibt es eigentlich für solche Spezialfälle eine Möglichkeit, irgendwo eine "historische" FHEM-deb zu ziehen?!?

nachdem meine zerschrotete FHEM-Installation nicht mehr zu einem Update zu bewegen war, konnte ich das Problem durch Neuinstallation lösen, wie hier beschrieben: https://debian.fhem.de/
Dabei erkennt der Installer die modifizierte fhem.cfg und bietet mir die Übernahme an. Bestätigt, fertig!!! FHEM ist wieder da als wär nichts gewesen. Kanns kaum glauben...

Und für's nächste Mal habe ich jetzt einfach mal das globale Attribut backup_before_update gesetzt. Dann wird beim Update vorab ein Backup gezogen...
