Hey there,
does anyone have succeded in writing the outside temperature in an vaillant heater?
my heater is:
2020-04-18 00: 52: 15.868 [update notice] sent scan-read scan.08 QQ = 31: Vaillant; BAI00; 0609; 5502
with config file: bai.308523.inc
I have tried to write the outsidetemp parameter with sThis commands:
31feb51603014009 = 2: broadcast outsidetemp
ebusctl hex feb51603014009
ebusctl hex feb51603010006
ebusctl hex 08b505021c09
sudo ebusctl hex feb50401000a0301020304050502204009
when i broadcast the value i get the feedback like:
done broadcast
or
00
but When read back the outdoor TempSensor I get this result:
--60.44; cutoff
or
--bai OutdoorstempSensor temp = -60.44 ° C [Outside temperature (uncorrected value)]; sensor = cutoff [sensor status]
can somebedy help me with an write command example or see what I am doing wrong in my broadcast command?
Thank you in advance,
Ilie
Hi,
I don't have this kind of device, but I can't set the outside temperatur in my device too. You can't set any value back to the heating system.
Outside temperatur makes no sence to me.
Best regards

Hi Christian,
I didnt try to write the other parameters in the heater but what I have understood that is possible.
the outside temperature should be possible to be set with a broadcast message according to this website:
https://github.com/john30/ebusd/issues/286
but for me it doesn't work.
Christian for writing the other parameters in the heater please see this topic maybe it can help you:
https://github.com/john30/ebusd/issues/179
I dind't try to write other parameters in the heater, I was thinking to start with the outside temperature first because it has the less impact on breaking something by mistake.
Hi,
that would be my favorit during summer time ;-)
