Hi all,

I have a problem to add my chacon module (ON / OFF) with usb key CUL in 433mhz.
Nothing appears in the log file when I try to synchronize the module.  :-[

Can you help me please? :'(

Thanks a lot for your reply !

Sorry for my english...

What is a chacon?
And why do you assume that a 433MHz CUL can communicate with it?

My bad... I thought the key allowed to work with Chacon (modules are very similar to X10).

Is it hard to add support for the brand Chacon (or DI-O, it's the same brand)?

Thx for your reply !

I think you won't find that out until you try it yourself.

During my research, I realised that protocol of Chacon-DIO uses the same protocol of HomeEasy.

I will continue my research :)

First I changed the batteries (although they were not that old, I have got the feeling it might have contributed to the overall solution), after that I resetted the buffer (thanks for that UliM!).

A simplified way that should also work if both devices respond fast enough during initialization is to plug both in and reboot. normally the devices should get their device names based on the order of the usb ports. this will not work of course if you plug them into different ports.
