Hi,
looking through the log of the fhem 4.5 with FHZ1300pc attached,
connected to a FHT80b (named wz), and i noticed something funny in the
log:
...
2009.01.23 10:07:33 4: FHT wz actuator: 31%
2009.01.23 10:08:00 3: FHT Unknown device 3232, please define it
2009.01.23 10:09:29 4: FHT wz actuator: 31%
2009.01.23 10:09:56 3: FHT Unknown device 3232, please define it
...
There is only 1 FHT80b device in the room. Other than that, we also
have some fs20 light controller/dimmer installed, but not yet
configured with the fhem software. I have yet to clarify what other
fs20 devices are, but i have no idea whether do they speak FHT to the
FHZ1300pc.
has anyone idea or suggestion?
thanks.
regards,
wahlau.

my log is full of these "Unknown device" messages. I always had them. Well,
when I think about it, their number rised enormously around christmas. I do
not know wether this is a software upgrade or a physical effect...
The standard explanation is: garbage on air due to bad reception.
You can define 3232 as FHT device and you will never log anything for it. But
if you do: ask your neighbor whether he or she uses FHT devices.
Best regards,
Boris

I hope it is not due to software error and i doubt it is a physical
one since each FS20/FHT message has a parity bit for each byte and a
checksum. Lets define the device, and look what's inside the message.

I did once defined a FHT device with this id, and i saw nothing
logged. So i got curious and try to see anyone has the same experience
here, hence the posting in the group :)
Maybe i should just define it just leave it so. Thanks.
