I am pretty much a newbie with FHEM. I am using the RFXtrx433 receiver/transmitter connected to my Pi, I am controlling one make of 433 sockets with no problem, they were auto detected by FHEM and I was able to configure them and they work fine.

I have a new set of external 433 sockets from ALDI and I can see that the RFXtrx433 and TRX_PT2262 can see the codes coming from the socket remote but I am unable to configure any devices.

The codes do not look like normal binary strings, here is the log from my TRX_PT2262

Fhem gives me this kind of error when I try and use the codes to configure a device

error set name=RFS_ALDI_1_X_X deviceid=2002103013001 (needs to be base4 and has 12 digits)

Maybe I am making a newbie mistake here, or maybe the 433 sockets are not compatible, any help as to how to send the on off codes via fhem would be greatly appreciated!!

Quite possible the devices are not compatible with RFXtrx433,. From memory the RFXtrx manual lists suitable devices though that does not mean other/newer devices will not work.
Are you able to test with a Windows computer and the RFMmngr program? That may give you an idea of whether the Aldi devices can be controlled with it or not
