Titel: Fibaro FGD-212 endpoint children devices
Beitrag von: gw0udm am 10 April 2017, 21:19:01
Hi

I've got a few of the older Fibaro FGD-211 dimmers installed which work fine, and each creates one device eg  - ZWave_SWITCH_MULTILEVEL_1

However I've just got a new FGD-212 and after learning it in to the network it has created three devices:

ZWave_SWITCH_MULTILEVEL_1
ZWave_SWITCH_MULTILEVEL_1.01
ZWave_SWITCH_MULTILEVEL_1.02

I can see that the .01 and .02 devices are down as 'endpoint children' but I can't work out their functions. The main device (1) dims the light up and down. The 1.01 does the same, but the 1.02 doesn't seem to do anything.

I'm sure this is something to do with ZWave plus and being a generally newer device but I can't work it out. Can anyone help?

Thanks

James

I dont know the device, but I've read here (http://www.pepper1.net/zwavedb/device/750) something about Switch #1 and #2.
I assume the subdevices are used to report which switch was activated.
