Dear All,
Hope you can help.
I have a Junkers ZSB-14-4 boiler.
It heats up my water in the speicher and the water for the radiators.
I have a temperature sensor connected to the water speicher and a temperature connected to the outside of the house.
The outside temperature sensor is used to judge if it is summer or winter mode and if it is very cold outside or not.
The problem is that recently we have had prolonged snow weather outside, but the inside of my house is warm thanks to the glass facade.
So I do not need the house to continue heating itself. I have Max! Radiator thermostats, but even if almost radiators are closed, some gas is still used to heat because the boiler can only monitor flow-temperature.
According to the manual of the boiler, it looks like I can turn on/off the heating via the electrical interface.
I want to connect a relay that I can then turn on and off via my automation system but am not sure which 2 pins to use from the gas boiler, since it is German, I am not sure how to do it...
I attached a picture of the manual.
Should I connect my automation relay to:
Ein/Aus-Temperaturregler
or
Externer Schaltkontakt
If possible, I would like to only interrupt heating and not hot water too.
Thanks.
I don't understand all the technical information you gave, however in the manual it says that the ,,Externer Schaltkontakt" would interrupt both, hot water and heating.
Kurz, weil mobil...
I think it is the Ein/Aus Temperatur Regler. (The one of the top of your picture).
That one is usually bridged to have always demand. You can try to remove that bridge. Heating should be stopped (no demand).
Hot water should still be prepared.
Does the first one (the switch symbol) do the same?
Do you know what is different between
Ein/Aus-Temperaturregler
and
Externer Schaltkontakt

I will try it, basically, I removed the bridge that was installed on both (1 at a time) to test.
They both interrupted the gas usage, but I couldn't check if the hot water works since the speicher is fully warmed up.
But if you think it is the first switch, I will give that a try.
Thanks!
They are not the same.
Externer Schaltkontakt is for underfloor heating for example. It states in the text that this one will cut both, heating and hot water.
When you test you take out the bridge "Ein/Aus-Temperaturregler" and you would need to "generate" warm water preparation. (Take a shower :-)
Yeah. The first seems to work. Thanks.
Great :-) Could you put [Solved] in front of the subject of your first post?
Thanks, :-)
