Conrad? (I like it since it also displays the temperature and there is an
article on FHEMWiki about it - http://www.fhemwiki.de/wiki/FHT80b - so it
seems to work well). The only problem i see is that the wiki article says:
Ausserdem sendet FHT80b ca 4 mal pro Stunde folgenden Statusbericht:
FHT actuator: 0%
FHT measured-temp: 23.1 (Celsius)
FHT battery: ok
FHT lowtemp: ok
FHT window: closed
FHT windowsensor: ok
FHT warnings: none
Does that mean I cannot simply do "getstatus " or "get
measured-temp"?
Or is dedicated device HMS100TF better for my purpose? Any experience with
this?
Thanks
Rok

well, portable... in a way, yes.

To be precise: it displays the _desired_ temperature, not the measured temp.

Yes, works well. Usinfg it since 2 years. Just that it sometimes stops
transmitting data for a while, but that's just temporary and happended
twice in two years now. That's also described in the mentioned wiki though.

Right. It sends tha actuator-value (calculated heating-valve-open%) every 2
minutes to react prmoptly to a drop in temperature e.g. due to an open
window, other than that just 4 times an hour.
You can send a request named 'report' , but I'm not sure what that report
contains - and the device won't reply promptly anyways.
However, the last measured temperature is stored in fhem together with a
timestamp.

Don't have one, so I can't tell.

Thanks Uli, that's really valuable info to me. I bought the FS20GHS device
2 weeks ago and figured out later that i cannot actually read the
temperature and humidity information from it, quite a disappointment. So,
the FHT80b does not display the measured temp, just the preset/desired? In
that case, it definitely has no use to me, hopefully someone can recommend
the HMS100TF then...
Thanks again!

... for just measuring temp you'd porbably want to consider S300TH, see
http://www.fhemwiki.de/wiki/S300TH

Yeah, I was looking at that one, the problem is Lieferzeit is 9 wochen :(
and the other one is sofort versandfertig
http://www.elv.de/funk-temperatur-luftfeuchteaussensensor-s-300-th-fuer-z-b-elv-ws-200-300-elv-ws-300-pc-usb-wde1-und-ipwe-1.html
so hopefully someone can confirm that hms100tf can act as a sensor from
which I can read temperature and feuchtigkeit at any time.
Thanks
Rok
