FS20 + CUL

Hi All,

I just bought a CUL + FS20 ST/2 and put on culfw and installed fhem.

When connecting to the CUL i get the right firmware notice etc. However when
I switch on the ST/2 I don't get any messages after sending X 01 or X 21.

Do I really need an FS20 remote before I can hook the device up or am I
doing something else wrong?

You'll never get an answer from an FS20 switch, as it is receive only.
But you can switch it....

fhem> define MySwitch FS20 1234 56

You bought a single st2 and a cul. No remote device?
My question would be: have you programmed the st2 device already?

If not, just define a device via fhem, or directly on the device. Put the st2 in programming mode by holding the button for about 5-7 seconds. Then switch the device on & off various times to program it. Unplug the st2 from the wallsocket and re-insert it.

Now start switching it on/off from your CUL.

Reminder: st2 is a receiver device, not a sender. If you press the button on the st2 itself it will not send out a signal about it's status
