Danke für die Rückmeldung! Es liegt scheinbar nicht direkt am TUL - das Verhalten ist offenbar bei vielen USB-Geräten der Fall, die über "Hot-Plug" angeschlossen werden...
Nun bin ich etwas schlauer. Muss mir nun einen aktiven USB-Hub besorgen! Nur welchen...?

was ist mit reinstecken und dann hochfahren ? Ich hatte das auch mal - WLAN-USB. Wenn der Stick beim Start drin war, lief das System hoch. Wurde er später erst reingesteckt kackte das System ab.

Das ist ein Problem, dass auch andere Entwicklungsplattformen betrifft. Einfach einen Hub besorgen, der von Preis, Bauform, Anschlüssen, Kabellänge, ... passt. Wenn er dann nicht orderntlich funktioniert zurück schicken und anderen testen. Der eine oder andere Stick verträgt sich nicht unbedingt mit jedem Hub. Oder wie Christoph schrieb: ignorieren und nur im ausgeschalteten Zustand stecken. Halte ich bei meinem Odroid U3 auch so.
