Popup or Messagebox?

hi everybody,

I'm writing an perl routine that is initiated when the homestatus is changed in order to check if, for instance, all windows and doors are closed. If not than, besides sending a message to an email and pushover device, I would like also a popup or meesagebox showing on the tablet on which the homestatus has been changed (I'm using the  Tablet UI).
Is this possible?
