Hi,

Anyone ever did some work to get KlikAanKlikUit / DomiaLite and some
others working with FHEM one way or another? the KlikAanKlikUit system
is a lot cheaper in the Netherlands then anything else (€18 plug-in
switch receiver, €22 plug-in dimmer receiver for example).

A solution with CUL433 would be most awesome :)

Hello,

I do have a Tellstick USB that supports KlikAanKlikUit and a lot more
433MHz - Devices.
Now we only have to find someone to write a FHEM-Module that supports
this Stick.
Since I do not need this piece of Hardware right now, I could offer it
for developing the module.

There is already the RFXCOM-Module for FHEM (written by me).
You have to use an RFXCOM-433 Mhz-Receiver for this (see
http://www.rfxcom.com/receivers.htm). I do use an USB based version.

The RFXCOM-Receiver supports many many 433 Mhz protocols.

My module does not support the transmiter currently because I do not
have the RFXCOM transmitter or transceiver.

I know that FHEM user kroonen (also from NL) uses my module to
receive  KlikAanKlikUit devices. I am not sure about DomiaLite. But as
long as it is supported by the RFXCOM receiver, it will be no problem
to add it to my module if this is needed.

Hi Willi,

the price-difference between the RFXCOM-Receiver and the Tellstick is
about 190 Euro. I think this could be reason enough to think about a
new Fhem-Modul for this little piece of USB-Hardware.

yes, i agree there. also the tellstick looks more open then the rfxcom.
so the question is, which would be easier to write a module for and more
flexible to work with.
the tellstick duo is €80, the tellweb is €100.

my question is for the new house of my boss, so i can just tell him to
get 2, 1 for him to use and 1 for me to test :)

Hi Remco,

I just figured out that my Tellstick is only able to send. So I
definitely need to get a new one.
Since the USB-Devices always need a device-driver on the host-system,
I would recommend to develop a Module for the Tellstick NET.

How did you calculate 190 Euro?

As far as I see you need the USB Tellstick duo which costs 81.75 EUR.

To receive the RFXCOM-receiver USB costs EUR 115.43.
To transmit the 433 Mhz RFXCOM transmitter/RFXmitter costs
EUR 85.68.

This is a price difference of 119.36 EUR.

Hi,

I took the price of a RFXCOM - Transceiver with LAN (241 Eur) against
a Tellstick. Since I later figured out that this Tellstick is only
able to receive commands, the price-difference against a Tellstick-Duo
is about 159 Euro.

I once had a Allnet 3000 RF MK2 to control the 433 MHz power outlets
(Intertechno). I only used that system briefly, as two lamps seemed
to start a life on their own shortly. I suspect that some neighbour
used a similar system and the same or similar codes or some other
RF signal was interpreted falsely. But after that experience, I went
to FS20 ... but am not too happy with it either (cost of outlets,
compared to Intertechno). What's your experience with the KlikAanKlikUit
or Intertechno kits?

tiptronic

I have the MK2 as well, but while it did good over time, it's nor reliable... Switching lamps leaves you with some insecure motion, if it happened or not.

What's really needed here is a bi-directional switch (one, where you can press a button on the hardware and this change is reflected in the software).

DomiaLite: Both are supported by the new RFXtrx transceiver. I have already
implemented a driver for FHEM receiving and also transmitting for these.
See my message on this list:
http://groups.google.com/group/fhem-users/browse_thread/thread/dbf527d7c1b6b12f and
also RFXtrx in the actual commandref what is supported:
http://fhem.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/fhem/trunk/fhem/docs/commandref.html?revision=1328#TRX

Currently the driver parses the address code wheels protocols. The
transceiver supports additional protocols. If you have other devices that
are supported by the transceiver, but not by my driver, tell me.
