Hi,

I can't get my HM-PB-4DIS-WM paired with FHEM. As described in the WIKI I did the following:
- checked if autocreate is is
- inserted the batteries
- set hmPairForSec to 600 seconds
- choose Zentrale - auswahlen.
Green light was shown for about 5 seconds on the switch but nothing happens within FHEM, no events show up in the monitor, nothing in the logfile and no devices have been created.

What am I doing wrong, what can I do further to troublshoot this problem.

I use the latest version of FHEM and the HM-PB-4DIS-WM shows version 1.4.

Thanks,
Alex

I did try that trick already but couldn't hurt to do it again. unfortunately no better result.
Strange that I don't see anything in the event monitor or logfile. Other homematic devices that I recently added are working fine.

I use the latest version of FHEM and ...

Sorry for asking this question, but having an outdated version is a very frequent reason for problems with relatively new devices:
Do you really really have the latest version?
Please enter "version" in the command line. If fhem.pl is not dated Nov 2014 enter "update" in the command line, wait until the update is complete, perform a "shutdown restart" and try again.

I frequently update my fhem so I was almost sure I have more or less the latest version. But's it's always good to doublecheck :)

I tried teaching the display directly with another homatic actor and this doesn't work either. So I'm pretty sure the display is not functioning correctly. I'll send it back to ELV an hope I have a replacement soon.
